Abstract

Poetry is at the very heart of C.K. Steads literary work. I would make the claim that I'm a fully paid up poet but I wouldn't make the claim for myself in fiction. Stead has produced five volumes of poetry and a sixth is ready for publication. As well, he has written a number of highly acclaimed short stories and two novels. [From Introduction]
