dc.description.abstract | We discuss the reluctant learner, learned helplessness and the emotional states that some students bring to library skills classes. These students have previously been unsuccessful in their attempts to search for information and they come to library classes convinced they are not going to learn anything. A prototype for this kind of teaching is proposed. | en_US |
