dc.description.abstractMore than fifteen years ago clinicians’ saw the introduction of a new form of noninvasive respiratory support which is now commonly known as Nasal High Flow (NHF) therapy. Today this therapy is used throughout hospitals and, in the home settings. This narrative review of the evidence will characterize: NHF mechanisms of action, therapeutic efficacy, contemporary delivery, and strategies for clinical applications.
